When Cassie and Alex first locked eyes, they never could have imagined the beautiful adventure they were about to begin together. They certainly wouldn’t have guessed that someday they’d be saying “I do” during a breathtaking Willow Brooke Farm wedding celebration! But on a radiant September day, Cassie and Alex’s family and friends gathered together to celebrate the beginning of their new life together as husband and wife. And this Northwest Arkansas wedding photographer is beyond thrilled he landed an invite to document it all!
They first met at a trivia game night in January of 2020. They were put on the same team by mutual friends, and their group won trivia night. They hit it off, but didn’t get to spend a lot of time together because Alex was in the middle of a busy tax season. After tax season, when things started to go well for them, the pandemic hit. Cassie’s job required her to be isolated, so they didn’t see each other for about a month. After those two hurdles kept them apart, they knew they wanted to be together forever. They got engaged on May 30, 2021, at White Rock Mountain in Winslow, AR.
If you know me, you know that I am a big fan of the “First Look” because it provides an opportunity for great photos. It also gives the couple a moment alone before the ceremony. That being said, I also love seeing the groom’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time during the ceremony. Cassie and Alex chose the traditional route and opted not to have a first look, which, after seeing Alex’s face as Cassie walked down the aisle, was the right choice. Instead, we had them hold hands without Alex seeing Cassie.
As the party drew to a close, the guests gave their last hugs to the newlyweds before they ran off into the night to begin their life together as husband and wife. I am so grateful I was able to document this Willow Brooke Farm wedding day in all its magnificence, and it’s a celebration I’m never going to forget! Congratulations, Cassie and Alex, on the first day of your new life together! I can’t wait to see you again soon!

Cassie and Alex, your wedding was absolute perfection, and we are so honored to have been a part of documenting your big day!

Alex’s sister got really emotional and it’s one of my favorite moments from the day!

Hi, I'm Alex
Hello, friend, and welcome! You’ve made it to the part of my online home where I share my life, my work, and the things I'm passionate about. I'm working on making this like a 'choose your own adventure' game, so keep scrolling and see if anything catches your eye!
Alright, so maybe this isn’t a true “Mommy & Me” session, but when your cousin needs headshots and she brings her daughter and her wedding dress, it results in fun photos.
As a photographer, there are few things more rewarding than working with dynamic, passionate individuals who bring energy and personality to every frame. That’s exactly what I get every time I have the privilege of doing brand photos for Zach and Tori, two exceptional real estate agents serving Northwest Arkansas. From the moment they step […]
I’ve been wanting to shoot a wedding here since 2019 when Ashley Greene (Alice from Twilight) attended a wedding in this very chapel. Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista was designed by E. Fay Jones and Maurice Jennings and constructed in 1988. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! It was officiated by former Arkansas […]
As a photographer, I find nothing more rewarding than capturing people’s memories through the lens. Senior portraits, in particular, are a great way to mark the end of a chapter in a student’s life and the beginning of a new one. Recently, I had the pleasure of taking senior portraits of Emily, a soon-to-be student […]
I’ve been photographing Zoie and her family since she was 12, so when her dad sent me a text saying she wanted me to take her senior portraits, I said, “when and where!?” We shot Zoie’s senior pictures around the Fayetteville Town Center during golden hour.
For those who don’t already know… I’m famous. That’s right, back in 1992 I was on LIVE! with Regis and Kathie Lee. Why? Because my mom is cooler than your mom. You see, I was born almost three months early and spent 60 days in Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where I wasn’t expected to live. Clearly, […]
